the weather that day was perfect some small clouds and not to warm. It was the most memorable ride to date. there were plenty of bikes out that day,

Midweek always safer to hit Glorious or Mt Mee .. lunatic boyracers , dozey sunday drivers and sneaky coppers are less prevalent .

So this morning I went for the usual ride up to Mt Glorious at sparrow's fart had a coffee and felt like a little more. So I headed down into Samford and then out through Dayboro and then up through the Mt Mee run. Ive not done that ride before but its great and it surely won't be my last time. I ended up at the D'Aguliar turn to Caboolture or Woodford before hopping on the highway and back to Brisbane. The highway road is such a bore and I wanted to know which way home was as interesting as the roads I had traveled up to the Caboolture turn.

I was one of the lucky ones, my wife was in Melbourne seeing a show with one our daughters. So I spent half of Saturday and most of Sunday on the bike. Saturday was visiting some of our grandkids and my Mum. Sunday went on a loop to Crowes Nest, Hampton, Esk, heap of backroad exploring. Lunch and a yarn with Tbird Storm bloke and more backroads. Even managed to do some work at home although more riding beckoned.
