What octane is best for Aussie Roadster

I just checked my manual for my roadster and it states 91 only, I asked my dealer and he said never use 95 they have an additive in it that they hate and will cause damage if used all the time, he went on to say that 98 is ok but a waist of time and money. I have used 91 and it's fine and 98 and there is stuff all difference in it but I must say I run 98 bp as it's a cleaner fuel and it runs cooler.
I would run 91 but all the 91 around here has 10% Ethanol and I just don't trust that stuff ,I run 95 or 98 for piece of mind.

91, swap around on a long trip and you'll notice the dif. X 10 if you have mods & re-map.

Run 91 octane in mine for years now .. probably since Hellfire (RIP) recommended it come to think of it.

91. Pointless running anything else in a stock motor. Mine starts easier, runs better and is quieter than on 95 or 98.

TC's correct. Fortunately I can get whatever grade I want ethanol free. Not the case everywhere though. I never put ethanol in if I can help it and if I have no alternative only ever as much as I need to get to the next servo.

Have only ever run 98, just checked the manual and it says 91 (2012 Roadster), might drop back and see what happens, but I am about to put on TOR's and a crossover pipe (getting Nev to tune, de restrict and filters in a couple of weeks), so then may go back to 98

I doubt any of those changes will necessitate higher octane fuel but I'd just be running whatever Nev tunes it for. Maybe there's an opportunity for him to do a comparison of different fuel types.
