You Aussie Roadster owners, what fuel octane is best to run in my Roadster, 91, 95, or 98.
I might be wrong but it appears to run a bit smoother on 98.

I had mine on the high octane stuff and dropped back . I reckon it runs slightly better on the low octane but there's not a lot in it to be honest.

When I purchased the bike I am sure dealer said to use 98. But I agree there does not seem to be much in the feel of high or low octane.

Rockets are low compression...at least stockers....no need for more expensive mixes.

91 will run just fine. I use 94 only because it's the only octane we've got around here that's 90 or over.

Just so you know, another Captain rode my bike and I rode his. His was sluggish and very rough on idle and under acceleration. He said that mine was incredibly smooth. Later we discussed fuel and found that he had been running regular unleaded (87 octane) for some time now.

I experienced like night and day that quality fuel makes a huge difference.

my owners manual says 91 RON, I doing a 1600 km ride starting tomorrow so it will give me a good opportunity to compare.

The dealers all recommend 98 and the owners manual says 95 and up so I'm sticking with that

You're right. The dealership recommended 98 to me when I first bought it but I tried the lower octane a while back and found less popping on decel.
Again I really don't think there's a whole lot in it having tried both.

I got rid of the decel pop when i switched from tors and triumph collector "HORRIBLE "
to the staintune setup she has never snape crackled or popped since i love these pipes
