I purchased this jacket in 1976 from Lewis Leathers...

It's like an old friend.......Shame it doesn't fit anymore.

I have a Schott for daily wear, and a Vanson perforated that I never thought I would be able to wear again, but I'm nearly there as far as fitting into it again.

Here is my current wardrobe, in the garage, not in the closet. My first leather jacket is from Langlitz Leathers purchased nearly 50 years ago when I was 21 and riding my first bike, a '71 750 Honda. Unfortunately I outgrew it about 20 years ago and gave it to my brother-in-law who still wears it almost every week when we ride. Cost me about $300 back then, including the leather pants. Today the same jacket alone can run you somewhere between 1200 to 1500 buckaroos, sheesh. These days I wear my two textile jackets(TourMaster for the Harley and Rocket for the Rocket) most of the time when temps are 70's and up. So-called, "winter" is now upon us in Southern California so I will be wearing leathers more often when the temps get down in the 50's and 60's from time to time. 55F and raining here at the moment.
