2006 is Jet Black, Phantom black was introduced in 2007
Oh and I have a completed set of Jet black tins except for the side covers which are new unopened chrome covers Just in case I muck mine up. Oh and well I might collect parts like Mitzy

Hey bud also you can tell as the Jet black has no metal flake in it like the Phantom Black.

Just an FYI comment -
I used a Ford color, Tuxedo Black, on my motor and I can't tell the diff from Triumph's Phantom Black???
