What air intake is this?

Warp, didn't have any problems at all with clearances. From memory it is 380mm from the outside of throttle body no1 to no3 so the smaller unit will not fit, the larger unit is perfect as you can fit the air temp sensor between no1 and no2. I will take some more photos and post them so you can see what I have done.

HMM interesting I have a set of throttle bodies here and they measure 11.5 inches from outside #1 to outside #3 thats 292.1mm so now I am confused as the 600 series is 435 mm long 17.125 inches. I will wait for you to double check when you take the photos if you would. Could it be you went with the 500 series instead of the 600 series?

Scott,
I have replied to your Pm,
here are a few photos

Great that really helps I replied back so you get an Idea where I am going since my HP is higher then the 230 the 600 series is rated for.
Could you send me those pictures via e-mail soi can have full size ones to work my dimensions off of?

Man I was just looking in your album that is some nice workmanship. And great pictures. Did the flanges com with the universal base plate?
Just incase you stated you bought them off the internet can you supply me with a link in case I am not so licky here in the USA? I can always have Peter or Bones hook me up!
Again thanks that is the best filter set up I have seen yet.

Scott,
I have double checked again, the parts came in a box marked PX600, but when you look at the dimensions it is definitely a PX 500 unit, sorry about the confusion. I am not having a good day, been on holidays and back to work tomorrow. the flanges I made myself. The link to Pipercross is Pipercross performance air filters for road and competition use | The Pipercross Shop. Personally I think that is a good looking setup, just waiting for dyno figures after I get the exhaust system to seal properly, will email the photos to you shortly
