What’s the last thing you bought for your rocket…

Can you tell me a little about the horn? Make, mounting issues if any, have to upsize the wires and fuse?

Good luck on ever hearing back from Corbin, I'm curious how that goes.
After 3 days of waiting for an email back, I called them. It took 5 minutes to get a good fix for my issue and the seat is installed now.
The way it sits on the bike looks a little goofy, like the pan is too big, but the guy on the phone was great and it’s way more comfortable than stock.

I just got the bike a few weeks ago so it’s been a pretty wild week….

BT Moto tune and Dominator pipe went on last week. The carbon radiator cover, front fender side pieces, fly screen, and rear mud guard are on their way.
The Corbin seat just came in but it doesn’t fit correctly so I’m waiting on an email back from them to figure it out.
What did you think of the BT moto tune? I just got one, and I'm a bit underwhelmed. I had it done at a performance shop since I'm a bit computer illiterate. And it was the guys first time doing it. It seemed a bit snappier and responsive at low throttle/ low rpm's, but I'm not sure I feel 30 HP up top.

Another question, Does Corbin still use lead for their seat pans? I had one years ago and it seemed unnecessarily heavy. But I do want a seat upgrade. Any pics?

In keeping with the thread... I'm 6'5" with 34" inseam, so all torso. I bought the biggest shield I could find. 24 1/2" touring shield from Poland. No where near tall enough. I drilled new holes to raise it about 2 1/2". Still not enough. Finally I put on this MRA Xcreen spoiler I had. And that seems to be ok. I'll test it out again tomorrow, but it seems like I might be set for some long tours....as an afterthought, I thought I'd mention these bits I added to the bars. I was a little worried about such a tall shield " rocketing" down the highway connected by only the rubber well nuts meant to hold the little stock GT

fly screen. They aren't connected to the shield. They only give it support to lean on. I used an appropriate size M 8 Allen head, with a piece of rubber hose about 3/8" longer than the bolt. It's rock solid like this.

Do you look over that screen or through it! Only ask as I had a Standard “Winter” Touring screen on my R111 and wanted the lower “Summer” one. I’m a short arse and can’t abide looking through touring screens!

Believe it or not, I look over the top of the spoiler by quite a bit. Sucks being a tree sometimes. ha ha

The top of the windshield should be right at nose level. I would never want or have to look through a windshield but that’s just me and my opinion. The problem with most aftermarket windscreens is they line up great but as you pick up speed they flex downward and at high speeds bend further causing you to get hammered by the wind. With my Powerbronze if I keep it under 80-85 or so all is good. After 85 mph it’s like there is no windshield. Also you are correct Mr Danger. I look at the windshield while cruising over 85 and I notice the top of the windshield flexing and straining as it’s in a straight line with my neck. Certainly not too worried but man if it did go so would I. I like where my head is and would like to keep it there. I always check and tighten the windshield before every trip. Cheers with your quest.
