Wet weather rideing.

Just a short one. What is the beast like in wet weather as I will be useing it in all weathers also how do the electrics stand up to the strain. seeing as the usual weather is wet, very wet nearly 100% of the time. :?: :cry:

hi leemo , i ride all year round, youll find that when its wet traction is at a premium,as it is with most bikes,keep it nice and smooth and it will be fine , if it s wet i wont gas it until im in 3rd and i still employ caution,that said i have spun up the rear and its not as alarming as you would expect ,the long wheel base lends excellent stability and enables you to cope with minimun fuss ,should you give it too much,,,,,,the bikes power has not intimidated me once , hugely controllable , the electrics are great , i use WD40 ,ACF50 is popular too if you can get it (rocking horse poo), i only once had an electric problem , i was being a twat with a power hose ,,,go for it ,you wont look back

I've rode through plenty of rain and found the bike to be stable so long as you don't push the limits. No leaks or problems with any electronics or guages - I'm fitted with Fuel Guage, Clock, Heated Grips, Fog Lights, and Heated Seat.

Much as what Danny said. Did 200 miles yesterday in the wet - no problems with anything, but keep it smooth.
I use WD40 and Scottoil FS365, which I think is much the same as ACF50 but easier to get.

Generally someone selling ACF50 on ebay.

Bought some for my Dad for Christmas (can't bring myself to spend £15 on a tin when F365 is half the price ) and he swears by it. Claims it's revitalized the connections on his electric bicycle

Control in rain, no big deal. Keep the power smooth and lay off that rear brake, she locks up easy in the wet. No problems with electronics but don't be surprised if your chrome starts to rust.
