That looks like a fairly standard pump mechanical seal with a carbon seal on a ceramic face.
The cramc piece usually sits in a rubber seat glued to the pump casing, but in this case they appear to have epoxied it. The other half has the carbon seal that runs on the ceramic face. from the carbon seal is a rubber seal that should be a tight fit over the shaft
. The seal carbon spins on the ceramic and uses water to prevent wear, if it runs dry it toasts the carbon and it falls apart.
These seals are cheap about $25 to $30NZD. I'd measure it and go to a local pump shop and see what they have, there are shops online that specialize in mechanical seals. We rebuild a lot of pumps at work.
