want to put a trunk on the r3 tourer

I just bought a r3 tourer from my best friend and was thinking about putting a trunk and back rest combo on it. Has anyone seen on managed to put either a Harley or Goldwing on the rocket .

Rainman and I both had trunks on ours and we ordered them from Mutazu. I had good luck with mine and so did he

It a Mutazu as well. Price is a lot better than a Harley or Corbin, but not as strong.Just make sure you have big washers as backup plates when you bolt it down. Its fine if you do that.

I also have the Mutazu and found the base started to crack but a sheet of 1.6 mm aluminium adhered and riveted fixed that until now many thousand km later and while returning from a 1,000 trip half the latch broke of and is somewhere on the Hume Hwy but latches of a similar type are common so all in all I am happy with it as it was very well pricedr

Is yours a Scootworks? Does it have to be that high for clearance, or could you come down some? I'm looking at doing a Harley Tourpak myself soon....just don't like that wompus rack for looks. Noone makes a kit to adapt the Harley Tourpak to the quick release Triumph luggage rack; maybe it'd be worthwhile making up 10 kits and sell 'em to other folks in the same predicament. Thoughts?
