gday alan, i bought my 09 from jcs but i would shop around for the best deal, there's a new dealer in rockingham one of the britten brothers dale or kim i forget witch one and welcome to the site there's a lot of good info here. seeya.

Where did you hear that Keno? I heard it was the Brtten at the causeway, but you could be right.
Rockingham would make more sense seeing as though JCS and Chapmans are only a few klms apart and there is no one in Bunbury now.

gday zim it was just a small ad in the sunday times, thought they would have advertised it better.

Thats a very good price , IF ITS THE NEW MODEL , the model with the new colors and the detuned engine , and not a left over from the previous lot . Which were going out for 20 grand.

For that money I would rather fly and ride , with the savings , buy a bike , have a holiday , in fact call in to Batemans on the way back

2014 plated bike mate. Black with the red stripe.

many thanks for the replies

Hi there guys, many thanks for all the replies, appreciated. I think it will probably be JCS that gets my business in the end, purely because they were exceptionally nice to me when I was in last year.

It's Kim Britten that's in Rockingham and although I haven't had any dealing with them myself some close friends have and none of them have had anything positive to say about the shop. Mostly though the gripes have been in relation to not budging off the advertised price. If prices are set by the factory there's not a lot to be done though really.

Got to wait until nearer the end of the year when my home life will be somewhat more stable, but can't wait!

Now I've made the decision the wait will be so much harder!

Cheers guys.

Alan

Britten has an '08 Touring on the floor - maybe you could test ride that one on a regular basis??? Gotta keep the battery charged.....

I have heard this also, but where they will talk turkey is on the trade in price. A friend of mine got $2k more for his Harley at Chapmans.
But if you dont have a trade in ,it dont make much difference and you still have the parts and service to think of.
