Vented Clearview Shield

When I want protection from the elements I jump in the car, never liked riding a bike with a wind shield, love to feel the rain stinging my body and the bugs in Florida are quite tasty.

Rode across country one more than one occasion, rode over a good part of UK, France, Spain with no windshield, once I start feeling old I might give it a nano second of thought about how it would feel with one on my bike. Until then I will enjoy the feel of the wind, the pounding of the rain and the splatter of the bugs all over me.

After the RAT dinner ride on Saturday in Foley Alabama Milinoman (Dennis) and myself jumped on the I-10 to get home usually I take 87 but the freeway was flowing along nicely so I just stayed on to Crestview. But you are correct we will have to hook up before ES.

I've met (and rode) with BoogerDave. I've met Dennis, but haven't actually witnessed him riding his bike. I am convinced, however, his bike will soon have one of those squeeze bulb horns and a bell like kids used to put on their bicycles.

Ah, my good man Daryl. Usually when I see you at D&D I am at work so I'm not on my Rocket. However, if you would have shown up at our "dinner" outing on Saturday, I believe you would have had a bit of trouble keeping up with me and Dave on I-10. It reminded me of the Nashville run last year where we pretty much did 85-95 mph most of the way up after picking up HeR3tic (Rocky) below Birmingham. Dave and I were going a "little" faster than that on the way home. As for the squeeze horn and bell, there is no more room on the handlebars.

I wouldn't have had any trouble keeping up because I wouldn't have even tried. I'm perfectly content "cruisin'" 70-75. I'd have caught you soon enough, however, because I wouldn't have had to stop for gas after 50 miles.

I believe when we were doing the Nashville run at 85-95 I was getting 38.5 mpg and took my tank to a 228 mile range.

After reading Britman's review of the Clearview, I've ordered mine (no vent)! I'll be sure to report on how well it works, once I'm home!
