This winter I want to adj my valves. Big job or not? is it the Suzuki shim kit I should get? I used adj valves with the adj nut. never with shims the dealer says about $500-$700 for the job

This a short write up from the first time I did it.

Not too long after that I ended up putting new cams in and had to reshim it. If you find out that you are going to have to swap shims, I would get the Triumph cam jig or see if your dealer will loan/rent it to you. You will also need a set of calipers to measure the shims with. I would hold off on buying the kit. You might be able to swap some around and end up only having to buy a few.
