Vacuum hose routing

Yup. I've tightened the leads to two of the coils so far. I'm about to scrape my knuckles bare in an attempt to get to that third one.
Pull the mounting screws and disgard the plate that holds the wire clips and you will never not be able to get to them again. The wire clips lay in the front just fine without it.

Tighten your coil lead wires first. You have 3 coils the one in the front by the head stock is a pain to get to. The reason I am saying to do this first is that it will start but run rough sounds more like the coil wires are loose. On a 2005 the vacuum lines need to be replaced to but Tighten the coil wires first
Are you suggesting that I replace all the vacuum lines regardless of my current problem?

Ken is this bike not starting or running

I know that skydog1000 - he has another thread on this
I suggested the hoses as one possibility for the non-start since he was working on the TB's
In that regard I had also suggested to check the MAP pressure - however as I said above, although the pressure itself will be pulling vacuum, I'm not sure if the software reports it during cranking or only after it actually starts.

We don't have too many clues to the origin of the problem - but it was running (albeit poorly) before the PM work
So just have to back-track and look at everything in that area that may have been disturbed.

Yes, you were the one that tipped me off to the low pressure. I'm about to check all the hoses now. And yes, the fuel pump runs for a few seconds when ignition is turned on. Someone suggested spraying starter fluid into the air filter to see if it fires. Good idea?

Yes replace vacuum lines. Find the problem first on the rough running. Can you tell us how it was running before. Was it running good did it have a slight miss. Did it sit for long periodof time then not start.

Maybe dumb, but the maximum pressure should be below ambient when all of the throttle plates are open. The throttle body itself may create a small pressure drop. At idle, the secondary throttle plates are closed even if you gave them set open in TuneEcu in the table. It needs to be choked to start cold, no?

Thanks. I have not gotten to the plug block off caps yet. But I am definitely getting spark, and all the coil leads have been re-crimped and tightened. (Warp9.9, that was great advice. I got rid of that silly mounting plate and those coil leads were easy to get too... no bloody knuckles)

It did not sit for a long time and then not start. It had been running intermittently rough for over a year. It was running fine, then started running rough again, and then when I parked it it never restarted.
