Is the option listed to unlock the top speed? Know I'll have to pay for it, but was curious the steps.
standard the bike is restricted to 240kmph. I lifted the rpm to 7.1K …so on a good day, all tucked in on level road I get to 270kmph before it redlines in 6th.

the question is if an additional 20-30km is worth the effort/money…

Don´t worry about the name.
The US map has full power, but still the speed limiter. (Like all the other unrestricted maps).
You have to pay a fee to Tune ECU to get rid of the speed restriction.
I plan on using your tune, just haven't done it yet. I still need to download tuneECU and get the OBD2link xl. From what I understand, I have to buy tuneECU and pay yearly to keep the penner map? I've never used this before so completely oblivious.

You just pay once for Tune-ECU.

When I purchased my TuneECU last spring, it said it was only for 1 year. Previously it was a 1 time fee. Now it

I read it's annually now. Kind of nervous about all of that. Wondering what happens if I'm late on the renewal, does it lock me out of the tune.

Not sure about the actual conditions when you purchase Tune-ECU.
But if you once got the map loaded into your ECU , it will stay there and won´t reset to stock after one year.
Just make sure your dealer does not make any updates.
