My 03 Dodge Ram has a hose that comes off the valve cover and goes straight to the air intake. The bike that I posted a picture of previously has had the hose hooked to the crankcase for 40,000 miles and has had no ill effects.... probably has clean oil at every oil change.
Wish i had the time but no , after the 4 weeks off i had riding Sturgis and 7000ks in the USA and Canada. Boss would crack it and credit card would melt lol.
Had the bike retuned today , tune ECU with tuneboy and he dynoed it took off o2 sensor lifted rev red line and other stuff . Bike is so smooth now and pulls good through the gears . Gained 16hp from last run with ramair and pc5 , 150hp and 149.7 torque .
I fitted a rubber hose over the crankcase vent with an elbow so the hose is pointing directly at me , the filter I attached to the hose with a simple garden irrigation joiner (13mm). Now the filter is just behind the panel which I can get to and clean with no hassles.
