UK sale !!

Phoned local dealer today and asked about a clock and fuel gauge. Got quoted normal price of £135 each. Told him about the sale list and price quoted on that. He said he would contact Triumph and get back to me. Got a call back 2 hours later and was told that the sale in question was from last spring/summer and the price list was for dealer to buy items in bulk which they didn’t..................So the current price for clocks and fuel gauges is £135.

Would be interested to hear if anybody else has managed to get items at the sale price to see if the dealer is just trying to make a even better profit.

hi yogi, the sale list was not for dealers but for the general public, myself and around 30 rocket owners on the .co.uk site went to our respective dealers end of last year and bought some stuffand paid those prices shown on the list i posted. if it was for dealers to purchase in bulk then why they let me order 1 of everything that i wanted.my dealer has just sold me a brand new set of tors for the price listed. i will check with him tomorrow for ya what is going on and will repost tomorrow.

hey yogi,
been in touch again this morning with my triumph dealer and he has told me that the sale items were for the end of last year but they were not for the dealers but for the general public so your dealers telling you porkys on that score.
however the sale has indeed ended but triumph have still got some items discounted. without going into every accessory in his list to tell me which ones (would take too long) he has suggested you give him a call on 01329232424 and ask for michael. he will tell you what he is charging and you can then see if your dealers not being as honest as he should.

i asked about the luggage and they are at full price.
and it looks like the clocks are too so maybe your dealers ok.

Thanks for the info Stealth.............Will have to keep my ear to the ground to see if they are having a sale again this Spring/Summer.
Going to order the pillion touring gel seat as that is still at the sale price.

TORs - I think "stage 1" is harley speak for a louder exhaust.
