TuneECU - does a map....

If you’re going to use his AFR table I suggest that you use his F tables, which he changed, and his L tables, if the L tables are changed in the Penner map you got the AFR table from.

Thanks! I checked and did that. I just did not want to change Rain and Road mode - which Penner did. The new map was not feeling that much different than stock below 5500 rpm. I will check fuel consumption at normal riding speed. Regards.
 
I have a 2007 Rocket 3 and I'm looking to have someone put a custom tune on my bike. I do not have the skills or confidence to do it myself and would love some help. I live in Greenville South Carolina so if anyone knows someone near me that can do this please let me know.
 
Not that hard to do provided you have the dongle, TuneEcu and the custom map.. Hope you get someone to help. Blessings!

Im new to the tuning and plan on Penners tune. I would like a tune that will hit hard just over 4k and continue. Is there any recommendations for this or can I get some feedback from Penner himself? I have a 2022 GT and came from a Gen2 V-Max so its not my first rodeo. Any help would be appreciated and leads in the right direction would also be helpful. I'm guessing I won't know which tune to use until I get my OBD2 scanner and tune ECU hooked up to the bike.

And my other question is can I get this type of tune from Penner or would I be better off to go with the BT tune?
 
Penner’s unrestricted tunes are at Tuneecu.net under custom 3 cylinder. Choose the tune for your model and market. Tuneecu for Android is on Tuneecu.fr. Read the manual. You will need an OBDLink LX or MX+ Bluetooth module and an Android device like a Samsung tablet or phone. There are a couple of other BT modules recommended in the basic guide. Go with OBDLink if possible. This is a small investment to get 170+ rwhp. You can always spend a crapload more money on BT-Moto if Penner doesn’t work for you. Penner’s tunes are for stock bikes.
 
I bought the LX today downloaded Tuneecu. Im on a Google Pixel 10. So do I read my stock tune which will direct me to the correct penner tune? From a few videos I've seen they've adjusted the last two to three columns up to 100%. For the columns prior to those, would it do anything to create a curve in the upper RPM and change those to 100 or just adjust the last two to three? My thought is above my RED line to make those 100? Good/Bad idea or not needed?

I’m’m not sure the Google Pixel will work. You need a full Android OS not Google OS. You need to purchase and register the app. Then try to connect to the bike and register the bike. If you want to use a Penner tune, you have to download it from the Tuneecu.net site. If you just want to edit the stock tune ETV table, download the tune in the app. Penner made some changes to the stock fueling. In your example, the throttle plate has been opened to 100% when the grip throttle is at 73%. The throttle would jump from 70 to 100%. Not clear why you would do this.

Unless something has changed since I did it you download Penner's Map to device and then upload using TuneECU and drive off smil'n.
Note: Don't manually reset adaptations. Read up on this first here and elsewhere...

Tuneecu post settings

I've done lots of research on flashing the Penner tune and there seem to be discrepancies between different people. Once the flash is complete and you go into the adjustments where we do NOT reset adaptations, are there any check boxes that need to be checked here or elsewhere such as any ETV...
