Tune for an early Rocket

Hi all ! Does any know if a tune exists for an early Rocket that eliminates the idle stepper from the program so you can remove it without having the check engine light on. Like what was done for the O2 sensor ?

Decosse told me alain was working on that some time ago for models other than touring, its probably an option by now.

You could reach out to Alain to see if he got that done, or maybe check your tune ecu program to see if the box is there to uncheck now? Blackie is at my sons or id get tune ecu registered and check tgat for ya

tribal jim has his stepper motor under his seat (along with a couple of others and his ran really good) on the 05 tribal so no check engine light.
you might put it on and adjust to not working.
but a box to check would be nice.

The problem with that is then the stepper hunts constantly trying to to "home". I'm afraid it may burn up that output of I ever wanted to use it again.

The stepper on mine will hunt if it's a little too far out of adjustment

i don't think that Jims hunted but it wasn't like i checked it for that peticular problem.
does it set codes i guess it probably does unhooked.
but when it is hunting does it set codes?
a bad primary tps might cause it to hunt.
