hey guys i'm looking to do some upgrades to my rocket. i'm looking at different muffler as i want a deep throaty sound verses some of the other mufflers. looking at the bypass and taking the cat off. i see there 3-4 power tune setups which one if any are better than others. i like the fuel milage i get now so i'm not looking to take it over the top but just get it louder a low tone hotrod sound and open it up alittle. any info would be great i've been looking on all the sites and tons of different opinions, i'm running with all stock right now just with accessories upgrades is all. it's a 2008 classic i bought in 2009 i'm passed my warrenty now and up on all the factory service checks now time to make it better. thanks

How much money do you want to spend on the hardware and how much hassle and money do you want to spend to retune for that hardware?

IMO, the Triumph TORs with cat bypass for the Rocket sound great, if you can still find them - a very Triumph sound. And there a custom TuneECU tunes available for free.

Hi, i bought a full set of Jardines and Triple KN's plus the top Tuneboy kit with LT-1 connector... and I have decided not to use any of it. All is packaged in original wrapping, nothing has been touched. I have a R3T and I am just too busy to do this mod.
The R3T is a beautiful bike that gets me a lot of attention in China. But I just don't want it (yea..the bike too..) anymore. The reason why is that I like to go fast and take quick turns and this bike just makes me a little nervous. I am 50 and I have been riding since I was 15, but this bike makes me uncomfortable when stopping or navigating ruts in the road at low speed.
I am going to buy a GTR-1400 and that will be my last bike unless I buy a BMW 1600 one day.
So...if you want a sweet deal on my unused parts, let me know...
