crazy, would have liked to see some of the old races with the Triumphs, Nortons, BSA's etc

They are real racers, have you been?
I went in 2012, it has spoilt me a bit as it makes everything else look a bit tame and MotoGP riders look like like baby's.

I'm looking into travel packages for next year's Isle.
Any tips?

My outlaws are over at IOM at moment and have been sending back pics regularly, one was of an R3 with a Sidecar that looked good.

Went to the Isle in June of 2013 for 2 days as part of a work trip to Ireland. Rented a CBR and rode the course and the rest of the island pretty much nonstop for 2 days. Awesome and when you ride it, it puts into perspective just how crazy and amazing the guys who race it really are. I did break the ton many times, so it made me feel very good!!

Ol bull,
Get booked early!
The ferry to the Isle is booked out very early on.
We went with a organised group but you can contact Isle of Man tourist office directly and ask about home stays, where locals put you up for the race week.
There is a lot of options and the locals are really friendly, they love the racing for the most part.
Once you get there you find there is a lot of places still available for accomodation.
Beware, it is addictive, we are trying to find time and money to get there again.
