I recently got myself a TTS exhaust header off another member here. I wrapped it and it should still fit under the original heatshields. Took about 2 hours to get the wrap on, its an awkward shaped manifold and had to be done in a few sections. Thought I would put a few pics of it up for anyone who is interested in what the pipe is like. Theres a pic of the original as well for comparison.

The flanges where it meets the cylinder are very interesting, they are a fair bit larger than the original and each flange is made up of 4 sections welded together to get the shape. All of the rest of the tubes that make it up are a larger diameter than the original. It came with a bung for each head pipe, these are off at the moment as I need to drill part way through

and tap them to allow the original heatshields to attach.

Nice looking welds on that header. Good way to increase performance while keeping the stock look!

Yes paul I have the crossover pipe too, however my rocket is the older type with three silencers. It currently has one of these crossover pipes fitted.

Im going to take a look tomorrow and see if the TTS header will mate up to this one okay. The TTS one is 57.5mm OD and im hoping it will work with this crossover if I remove the graphite gasket between the two and just slip it in with a bit of sealant.

If it doesnt it gives me the option to use your crossover pipe and make a twin silencer setup using some universal silencers and getting some tubing made up to suit.

You will find that the stock seal has an O.D. of 2", 50.8mm so this unit above will have an inlet too small to suit the TTS tail pipe.
You could cut off that inlet and weld a larger I.D. tube to it.
Remember tho' "a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link" and a pipe will only flow as much as it's smallest diameter.

So you need to maintain that header tail pipe diameter right through the system, or at least up to the point that it splits into two (or three) pipes, mufflers/Silencers.

Cool good info, may go with your crossover for it then or just go quick and dirty and stick a single 2.25" silencer on and see how it looks. Its only a temporary measure anyway. If the bike goes off to TTS they can make a new link pipe that will suit the 3 silencers and the header.

I had a chat with a fabrication place earlier, they said they should be able to remove the inlet pipe and make and weld in a new one with a larger bore to match the TTS header. I will post a few pics when its done.
