Trouble connecting....

I get the same message and my android version says 4.4.2 I would say that's higher than 4.0 like the tune ecu app says.
Yes, that is exactly what my version is. I am thinking maybe I need to buy a Samung or something like that. I went the cheap route. I'm going to try one more time, and if it doesn't work I'll send them both back.

Did you try emailing Alain?

I have a Samsung tablet coming in tomorrow, and I'm going to try that. If that does not work then I'll reach out.
I'm really trying to do everything that I possibly can to resolve this myself. I'm is self-admitted hardhead :banghead:

Me too, I do enjoy a challenge, and computers do that for me.

Strange, I can't answer that, you might have to reach out to the software manufacturer: Alain Fontaine, meeou@tuneecu.com.

I just noticed you're in SoCal... where abouts? I'd be happy to meet up and give you a hand.
O.K., so here's the deal. I went out and bought a Galaxy Tab A, and now everything works. However it was $179. It is what it is. I'm including a screenshot so everybody could see what software version etc.

it is.
I'm getting all of my tins painted right now, so after I get everything completed, maybe we can link up and do a ride or something like that. I live in Fullerton Send me a PM with your contact information. Us captains gotta stick together.

Me too sort of.

Money well spent! Right now I'm running 20228, I just put on the RamAir, so I will go back and check everything before moving forward.
That being said, any suggestions for ram air, TOR's, no CAT - tune? I am just double checking, because now I know exactly what the tune is, before I start on any other projects.

All of those stock tunes will be too lean.

The stock tunes will be too lean. This tune was also done by Wayne MacDonald (Tuneboy) for the TORs/cat bypass, triple Unifilters.

I didn't really like it so I took the pods off. If you can get the bike tuned somehow, PCV, TuneECU, Dobek, there's no reason to close the secondaries. Triumph put them in so they could limit power. If you don't care about power, that's another thing, but if you do, you want the most air flow you can get and the fuel to match it.

Aloha Gents...this is going along the same route I am..just got my RAMAIR in the mail..have a full Jardine exhaust and the dealer who I bought the bike from tuned it..my guess is a TOR stock tune as its a touch too lean and I get decal popping. Just ordered the cable form amazon abd I think it was Hanso who sent me a couple of Jardine tunes that I have yet to install. Keep me up to date on your progress and I will do the same..cheers

Would sure be helpful if you added your year & model bike under your avatar. :D
