LEGALLY - same here. EXCEPT if the rolling circumference is within 3% (This is an EU ruling). So for example a 200/60 is (on paper) the same as a 240/50.Correct, in Germany you cannot deviate from standard fitment at all, it's same here in the UK in a lot of places but if you buy your tyres elsewhere, places will fit them. I have ordered Bridgestones for mine, from Germany of all places but they don't know what I am using them on I guess
