Don't ride in darkness AND rain.....deer become invisible and they WILL cross the road directly in front of you resulting in loss of deer and damage to bike and rider.

Your asking for tips on long distance trips. I have to believe your an accomplished rider. That said, remember to climb off the machine every couple hours. It helps to stay sharp. Don't daydream, stay focused on the most enjoyable machine with two wheels. If your riding without a windscreen, wear a face shield. Other wise you'll get bugs in your teeth from continued smiling. Stay safe, and take lots of pictures.

The stock triumph seat can get downright uncomfortable on back to back days, If you haven’t upgraded your seat already you may want to consider it

Don't linger beside big trucks or hang back just a little behind them. Get past them or let them pass you and go on.

Excellent advice, Bill!
Never linger when about to pass any vehicle!
Get it done quickly and avoid being in their blind spots.
As you pass, always watch their front wheel for steer input.
