Touring air filter options?

Does anyone with a Touring run the K&N 4040s with the bearclaw removed?. Darn things are $50 each, I don't want to spend $150 to find they don't fit the Touring.

They don't fit on the Touring. The shape of the tank won't allow the 4040 to fit on the rear throttle body.
