Tors with other headers. Performance and sound ?

That looks great. Can it be made with different (shorter) mufflers ? To me the Jardines are a bit much to loud. And all 3 TORs are too loud. I run 2 TORs and 1 stock pipe and I'm ok with that. Can the mufflers have a removable baffle for quieter or louder running ? What price are you thinking for a set to fit a 2006 ?

I've not done any pricing as yet, as I said am still in the development stage which includes not only developing the pipe, but all the tools, jigs and fixtures to produce the unit, along with all the "office stuff":banghead:, doing drawings for, and organizing Laser Cutting, costing for coatings, pricing etc.

What I have found with building Exhaust Systems for the earlier Triumphs, Nortons etc is that every one has their own idea of what looks good.
So what I do is ask the buyer "what do you want" as opposed to saying this is what I make, take it or leave it.
What happens then is "the market" decides what is wanted and I build accordingly.
So if this particular style of muffler doesn't appeal to you, find a photo of what does and send it to me.
The end result has got to be six months later you walk past your bike and say to yourself "I like that !"

All my earlier systems have removable baffle tubes so of coarse will continue that with these systems.

Yeah I have a Paypal Mastecard I do most of my "laundered" MC purchases through.....Got the "Whats this 1000 draw from our bank account to PP for"interrogation last night.....Errrr....Ahhhh....Ummmm......Anything up to 500 is OK..anything over that she "goes all ISIS". Any of you guys that say you are in control are LYING!:D:eek:

PS...Bill...we slap a stock exhaust on your bike and any of Paul's setups da bomb. You multi bike multi aftermarket guys are suffering from AFFLUENZA of excessive aftermarket pipes:)

There is a great solution I have been a lifetime adherent to - NEVER get married!!! :D

I have a 2015 R2Roadster that is completely stock. The warranty is up this month so now it's time to start F*****ng with the big girl:).

So i've done a bunch of reading on previous threads and looking at awesome pictures of a lot of bikes on this site (lots of your guys have some wicked mods by the way) and think I have come to a couple decisions about what I like.

Before I start my goals are to increase HP and sound. I like it loud and stock is not doing it for me.

First ..... I love the stock look of the silencers on the 14 Roadster. The huge bit of chrome just looks sweet, especially with the beattle bags.

Second ...... Ramair or ozclaws look awesome.

So here is my question ..... if I add a ramair and replace the silencers with TORS and the headers with another brand will that give me the same ballpark of power gain (with the right tune of course) as a complete exhaust system? Is the problem with the stock exhaust in the headers or is it in the connectors.

Secondly what headers can interface with tors without any custom fabrication. I see a few pictures on here with people who look like they have done this but I can't be sure. I called Carpenter and they said theirs are complete systems only, I can't just hook up headers to the tors.

I'd love to hear everyones thoughts on power gain as well as the sound of a setup like this. If I'm not going to get the sound or power gain I'm looking for I may just have to go with a system like Carpenter which we all know works but isn't quite the look I'm going for.

Cheers,

Plenty of power...Save your CADs..you are going to have a resurgence against the USD when we go off the cliff. The CAD forecast is 59 at low and we have seen 68...I'd be holding
Exhaust looks good but I'm think I may bigger that 1 5/8" pipes.

What size?
