nearly offed me did that one , put me in an ic unit for 2 weeks and on the ward for another 3 . Snapped the ball clean in half on my left hip at the same time and multiple fractures everywhere else !
I am a marvel of modern medicine me , and I like to think , i have a special relationship with the boss man upstairs ?

Ribs are tough, not much you or anybody can do. Your alive so hang in there. Your story is good reminder about safety gear. Did your bike have engine guards/ bars?
They sure help in a slide. In 78 I got hit head on. Landed up the road. No fun. Where my boot tops ended is where my skin started disappearing. Rubber up for safety my friends!!

I use Roadhawk Bike Bullet cam (actually 2) - but innovv does a bike system with the recorder separate from the lens.
