Tires

Thats what i have on now. I read the avon has a 15000 mile guarantee. Doesn't look like it'll happen. WHY DON'T THEY MAKE A TIRE THAT WILL LAST 20000 MILE FOR TOURING BIKES.

Because of the compounds needed to deal with variable lean angles and cross section shape required to maintain contact patch area, the upright surface be narrow.
On a large motor, primarily ridden upright, it wears fast.
We sacrifice longevity because of the motor's handling complexity.

Holding off on buying a new tire. Need to lube splines so while the tire is off will check the balance. If it is off then we will balance it and put it back on. No wobble at all until I hit about 117 MPH. Front end is stable as a rock now. At any speed up to 117 MPH I let go of the handle bars and no shake whatsoever. Runs smooth but around 117 MPH it gets like a wobble (THE ENTIRE BIKE) Did not have much faith in it being out of balance and causing it to wobble but it is a possibility. One way to find out and that is to pull it.

Sonny, do you still have all stock suspension components? If so have you tried altering the preload settings on the shocks?

I would try one both up then one down and see if the wobble remains.

Just trying to think of things that may correct it easily.

High speed wobble like you describe isn't fun to troubleshoot.

Just watched "Worlds Fastest Indian" again and thought of your problem. I think if you stick your head up over the wind screen the wooble will settle down. Maybe.....☺☺☺

Is it a fast violent shake or a slow weaving wobble?

Slow weaving wobble. When I get the back wheel off this time I am going to inspect the spacers for proper tolerances and the balance the tire again. Bearings are new but plan on taking a look at that too. Just have to dig a little deeper.
