Time to "Stir the Pot" Darth Vader is Calling.

10,000kms is what I get from the Exedra too. Usually a bit of meat left but it's not quite as sure footed. I reckon it starts to go off around 8,000 but really only noticeable if I'm too heavy on the throttle out of a corner.

My 2 cents: I agree with the solid feel of the ct, and the one down side of tracking behavoir.
The first time I locked up the ct and it grabbed instead of sliding was a big smile moment.
My rear braking skills could be better, and the ct adds a margin of safety ;-)

Was thinking of trying the bridgey But only 8,000 km and then 2000 km of slip sliding  how is that better or that matter safer sorry guys but that taking a tyre to canvass doesn't cut it with me I got rid of the Metz at 6000 when it got to the wear indicators I like to be able to power out of corners reasonably hard and still get traction :D and I can still flick around in the twisty bit alright

One good thing they sell there rum cheap $5 a can at there clubhouse thats $3 cheaper than any one else around here.

Good as Gold two years ago i ran 12 bikes up a one way street ( the wrong way) right in front of three Hydra coppers .. my chapters Sgt At Arms and two full patch members of another club in tow :D nobody buying me drinks when we got back i'll tell you :D .. hahahaha.

Well it's twice as good as I got from Metzler. And there's no slip sliding; if you read what I said, I just have to be careful not to use TOO MUCH throttle. Can still ride it just as hard as ever. Show me any tyre that's at good on the last 20% as the first 80%. But frankly Hanso, I don't care if you never try a Bridgestone. It's your choice. Guess I'm not as obsessed as some about constantly "flicking" the bike through "twisties". Good sure footed handling is what want an is what I get.

Now that was clever ,I think I went on that ride they were raising money for the flood victims
That what's another wet day

I read "TOO MUCH throttle" as being that you have to be extra gentle compared to the first 80% in other words treat it with Kid Gloves = Great Care

"Show me any tyre that's at good on the last 20% as the first 80%"

Michelin Pilot Sport /Road - stick like glue all the way to the wear bars It is just a shame they don't make them in our size, cos if they did I would be running them. I have yet had a Michelin that didn't give good grip all the way to the wear bars including Macadam 50's (cross-ply yet griped better than Metzler Radial on Honda ST 1100) and Mac' 90's (radials) the Mac' 90's where later replaced by the Road series another great tyre by Michelin.
Cost of the Trye has never been part of the equation it is all about grip which equalls safety and I would be happy to pay what ever it was.
It so happens I get Great Grip in All Conditions with my CT but if Michelin were to make a tyre in our size I would be first in the line at the door to get one.

and it is nice see you did bit well, sarcasm is not such a nice dish to swallow eh!

but you see you are not the first to mention the Brigdestones Going Off in the last 20% There is at least one American and some one else whose name I cant recall have mentioned the fact that they had the tyre start to go off and start sliding well before the wear bars, but what got me doubting the Brigdestone was a Mutual friend that lives near Canberra had a moment when turning in off the Hwy into my street awhile ago in dry good conditions when he (a sedate rider) gave it just little more than normal and the tyre was still in first 50% of it wear

this is the first time I have rubbished your choice but as you say it is your choice what you put on your bike so how does it feel

Excedra max is the best tyre I've had on the bike and I have another one sitting in my garage which I bought in that group bye several months ago ,I will get it fitted this week . I just wanted to see how many km,s I could get out of it with safety. Looks like10'000km,s is i
