I just KNOW I'm going to catch merry hell about this from the regulars, but here goes. Is there a maximum time between engine startups that I should consider with a Roadster?

My concern is that this weekend I have to head over to London for 2 weeks courtesy work, and I am not sure about the key-off current drain for the Rocket. I can pick up a battery tender if that's what is recommended, but seeing as the wife will be joining me I'm going to be suffering from that dreaded Italian disease, "mifunzalow".

So the big question is, can I (relatively) safely leave the girl unstarted for about 2 weeks and not have a dead battery when I get back?

Me to I am scared to ask anything right now:p
I might get bam bam bam out of here:mad:

Nolton made me say that:D
Bam Bam him not meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee;)

ok I will be nice:eek:

It will probably be okay, but a battery tender is only about $30 at Ace hardware.

Thanks guys - I figured it should be OK, but better to check than to have a nasty surprise when I get back.

As for the razzing, I was at least expecting one "WHAT! If your job makes you be away for that long whithout shipping your bike for you then quit!" comment, or the "best way to keep it charged is to ride it".

Duh.

Looking forward to seeing some new sights, but not so looking forward to doing it in a Citroen rental car on the wrong side of the car and the wrong side of the road!

If that doesn't get some razzies, then nothing will! :D

Driving on the wrong side of the road? That won't be your biggest shock - wait till you have to pay for fuel - about 11 dollars a gallon currently, bring plenty of money we need it over here.

Well that's it. If you're the type who won't ride your bike for 2 weeks I'm won't be talking to you any more. Sorry. Have a good life. :p;)
