I have stock exhaust for almost 6 years now and I think its time to upgrade. I have heard about lot of them including
Jardine, predators mad dog etc etc ....from the look I really like Jardines (Black)!!

I am looking for the ones with heavy deep sound with base ;) ...don't like hi pitch sounds...

Any suggestions??

Cheers,
Girish

Jardines are a good way to go. Predators are also a good choice. IFT has said a few times that he has some traded in - maybe he can do you a deal. I think that willtill also had a set of Preds.

Do you have the triple filters? To get the best from the new exhaust system it would be a good idea to get them as well. I think that just about all of the tunes that are available would be for the triple filters. They will also help with a LOT of other advantages.

Ok Ian, great!
I would be interested in Jardines if someone is selling off!
What is the benefit of using triple filters ?(sorry for the naive question ... I am one!) ...Do I need to cut that chrome part on the left side of the tank? I have seen few it looks weird

The triple filters will allow the engine to breath better. The more air/fuel that you can get in, and the more that you can get out, the more power you will get. Adding more efficient pipes with out letting more air in won't help as much as it can.

In addition to that, by removing all the air plumbing you will get much easier access to everything under the fuel tank, making service much easier. You will not have to remove the bear claw. It will fit over the filters without problems, by using a couple of small spacers. You will not see any difference in the looks, but will notice a difference in performance.

Great!! will do that...do you know the good place to buy them from?

Flipmeisters is a great place to get them. He is a gentleman, and member of this forum. You will need the K&N Under Bearclaw Filter Set, the K&N Filter for air temp sensor, and the K&N Rubber Crankcase Vent Replacement filter.

I will be happy to help you fit them when i do the other stuff.

You are Awesome Ian! ;)

Lonsome crow the heat shield have welded nuts on the pipes and a couple have came off the header. so new ones would have to be welded on. Its a easy job for a guy who knows how to tig weld. In fact because its in the area under the shield the weld will not show so there be no need to get anyceramic coating redone. you can see the hose clamp holding the shield where one of the nuts came off. I will go take a few pictures so you can see what in mean a little better.

Nice....first time couldnt understand because i could not see the picture somehow!

.

ya two of the shield nut welds failed but I will get them off and rewelded I am just slow since having surgery the 29th. I did polish up one a little to see how it will clean up.

when I get the pipe complete I beleive is will look fine

Yep, I still have a set of Pred's but they're still in use. First dibs for them go to go to Xhdskip... since I've already willed them to him.... as long as I get the Brutes first... we'll see though about that... outsourcing of the company I work for is currently ongoing :?
