Thinking of putting new Exhaust System

I got your tune for triples & jardines from Hanso, It has your name attached to it, just waiting to see what exhaust I will go with, I did the filter last week.......:razz:

Warp, I don't know if you are talking to me or not, but in case you are , my bike is an 2006 SE, I run Tors and stock air, as stated in previous post I just installed the triple filters, I am wallowing between Preds & Jardines, ( Jars are available on ebay) I'm just lining all my ducks in a row before I take plunge, I want respectable Hp, not too loud,, am I making any sense?? :shock:

Well depending on whether you muzzle the predsdown with the end caps or not they are about as loud as the Jardines. I have had all of the above and must say I think th ejardine s sound the best except for the Carpenter Meagaphone. It might be because they ar duals and the preds are 3-1 so you get to hear the Jars from both sides.

I know it would piss Bob Caroenter off But I would love a set of triple megaphones. But the fact is it will rob power 3-1 is the best for making power. Every bends in a pipe slows the gases down which lessons the horse power. SSame goes with the intakes even forced air. The only difference in forced air is even thought you are slowing the air down soem your still cramming a whole lot more in so there is still a massive power gain.

If your talking about the exhaust header gaskets I could not tell you as Gracie came with them installed. Them gaskets are chep though so I would order two complet sets. sometimes you have to use two to get hings to seal and also incase things want to rub somewhere along the engine. As for Preds I know Art is selling a few sets for Stage 1 captains that opted for the larger power producing megaphone. Its a must if you want to get full power out of a Carpenter kit. I am cleaning mine up and fixing two weld nuts for the shields and will be selling them also. SO I am sure you can find them if you want. I am not sure whther Art has all short cans or not but mine is the long can. Just remember 3 into 1 wil give you more power. Plus if you want to get each cylinder tuned you can reach up a 4-1 system to get ateach header where you canot on duals. Its a matter of preference.

If you call Art ask about what type of shield they have because a Sam continur=ed to imrove on his shield mine are fully shielded so you do not get your pant legs burnt.

From what I have seen on the forums, Preds are fairly pricey..... soooooo,,, I don't know????? about the exhaust gaskets, what ones are used, OEM ?? :cry:

Yes OEM copper ones they are pretty cheap.

IDK what TORS sound like, but the Jardines amazed me, real deep, nice rumble. probably louder than my bud's open pipe Harley.
