Thinking about buying a Rocket

Hello Grampi! I've been reading the 9 forum for a few years. Had it not been for the Rocket I probably would own a 9. Glad to see you here, you will be very happy with a Rocker. The 9 is powerful, but the options you have with the Rocket are mind blowing. You are at the top of the food chain now.

There's a guy here in L.A. asking $9,950 for his '14 Roadster with 4,500 miles, matte black with white stripes. He just lowered the price on Craigslist, so I think he's eager to sell. That's a helluva good deal on a practically new bike. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/mcy/5178028405.html

Of course there are good deals on them now, I haven't sold my 109 yet...once it sells I probably won't be able to find any Rockets for sale...JK!

I know where there is an '11 Roadster with 140 miles on it for $8k

Nothing...at one point the guy was semi-rich after he sold his oilfield service company to a larger competitor, but after buying half dozen expensive toys including bikes he never rode, trips around the world and discovering the joys of cocaine he is no longer on the Forbes list. He is selling toys to pay his rent...the rocket just happens to be one of them

Does he have anything else to sell?

So where is this bike located and how would I get in touch with the owner? Do you know what color it is? Thanks.

You just described my Brother-in-Law to a tee except I on't think he owns a Rocket

It is located in Houston. Black Roadster with sissy bar and windshield, no crash bars. A buddy and I went and looked at it and he is considering buying but hasn't made up his mind. Just talked to him and he talked to the owner and has him down to $7800. I will try and get contact info for you
