Things are falling off my Rocket!

but I was the day I left Nolton's Mums place in Terrell, Texas and rode almost all the way in Torrential Rain to Nolton's place dodging flooded towns in Louisiana and at one stage went thru one town as the water was rising and I rode for about 500 yards thru a foot of water lapping around the bottom of motor, my so called waterproof wets and water proof Socks filled with another water to fill the Mississippi, after it got that heavy I had to ride with shield up and it took 2 days with all of Nolton's fans etc to dry my boots and helmet out, I was almost expecting a catfish to come out of my boots hence why I said in earlier post "on Aussie Soil" as I have never been wetter that that in "Wets" period!!!!!

I guess you know, if you don't like the weather in the South of the US, wait a minute!

You know What I'd do it all over again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep on Riding!!! I have been stuck in Torrential rain for 3hour one time and the bike did not miss a beat, my wet weather gear failed to keep me dry, water got into the left hand switch block causing the headlights to switch over to hi beam constantly I was possibly the wettest I have ever been on Aussie Soil whilst wearing wet weather gear.

I can confirm it doesnt matter but if leaving it out in the ran overnight I put a rubbish bag over mine just in case. The filters are also oiled so most water just runs off them.
