I run soluble oil in all my vehicles that are liquid cooled. This keeps water pump seals lubricated and thermostats opening and closing like they should.
You can use oil labeled for the purpose or use cutting oil used for machining. An ounce or two should do the rocket.
Thanks Dalan,for the info.Talked to the service manager over in Daytona about the temperature 215f to219 f is normal.he seems to be a decent guy .he is service mgr. and top mechanic also .local shop (Ridenow) I wouldn't let change a bicycle tire.
