Myself I am not sure because that definition also fits any eninge except the lawn mower ones that have a oil agitor bolted to the rod. My real point is that I am not sure. Someone who works on rotary aircraft engines that fly upside down or extreme sideways might be able to answer it. By that definition I think it is not a true dry sump. But heck it would not be the first or last time I would be wrong.

I will add that the manual states it is a dry sump system so I will not argue that one. But even so it does not change my question as to whether you can have a oil flow disruption or not someone like Nev might have ah face it has vass more knowledge then myself. From what I viewed in the tank the welds I seen were pretty sh!tty so I want to cut one open for a better look see. On how the pick up is plumbed in.
