I figure you lose "man points" for needing to validate yourself by ridiculing people who do things differently... and if somebody really wants to fuss about what other folks are doing, they can circle up like teenage girls and gossip all they like.

I like my steak bloody, my cigars dark and strong, my whiskey neat and I obviously like my bike to be a big brute... but if you like a blueberry daiquiri with your clove cigarettes and veggie burger, you're still fine by me. I'll buy the first round.

Having lived and worked in several countries around the world I find the American stereotype of big, bad, manly bikers to be somewhat unique. You know the type...no other bikes but Harleys, you have to wear leather, and have tattoos that are visible in a sleeveless shirt and mostly misspelt, etc. I don't get it. HD makes a killing perpetuating this, but why do so many people buy into it? The baddest sum***** I've ever met in my life was a Puerto Rican Marine Gunnery Sergeant that was about 5 foot nothing and 120 lbs soaking wet. I've seen him handle men twice his size in some of the $hittiest bars on the planet (and other not so pleasant places) and never break a sweat. If you met the guy on the street you would swear he was the nicest guy you'd ever met and wouldn't hurt a fly. I watched a big Norwegian guy talk himself right into a severe a$$ whipping in a bar in London one night because the Gunny was wearing a pink golf shirt and Khaki trousers. I didn't think he was going to survive ...be careful about the assumptions you make based purely on what you can see. They can have some nasty ramifications.

I believe we sometimes take things way too serious from what they were first intended to be. It is certainly ok to poke fun and laugh at ourselves sometimes. I just keep myself in stitches! Of course, I'm usually the only one laughing....

very old saying comes to mind
Never Judge A Book By its Cover
I like to add to it this "but you can always tell a wanker by his actions"
and Also this "There is No Room In My World for a Guy who beats a up Woman"
and while not wanting to Offend someone or any one for that matter, I don't believe in a Mancard as that would mean I would not be allowed to show my True Emotions and Feelings and to be allowed to Cry over something Sad or get a lump in my throat when I see something really Sweet, Cute or Beautiful like just some people showing their Love for each other.
But I'll tell you what Look out any Ar## Hole that thinks they can takes those rights to show those emotions away from me:)

Ok guys you can blame TomCat for this little brain spirt of mine...:D Sorry TC had to blame someone.
I'm curious with this international crowd What does one have to do to get his "Man Card" revoked and or lose mega points? For those unfamiliar I'm talking about being caught doing... lets just say "less then Manly" things or caught in less then manly situations... Stories, examples or simple rules work so we all have an understanding.

I'll start it off. Dudes riding Beyoch with other dudes. Heck how about chicks riding with the dude behind her? I'm talking about on a motorcycle. ;) Both I say are Man Card violations except under the most extreme situations.

here we go...

Once again it looks like you're on your own mate .. only one that's never dropped their bike and now .. well the only one that seems to 'value' your idea of a Man Card .. maybe you should hang around here , listen up and you may be able to alter your ideas on what it is that actually makes a man a man ;)

I don't mean to come off too serious. I know this thread was started for ball busting and I don't mean to accuse anybody here of anything more than that! I just have a sore nerve on the subject so my 2cents dropped a bit heavy in the cup.

No offense intended, I just get a little worked up. Now if you'll all excuse me I've got to hop on my 250cc nighthawk and meet some friends. A bike that small has got to cost me some points ;)

ALSO!!!! What kind of "MAN" starts a post like this and never posts any response???
I say chicken Sh!t cyber bully - arsehole trouble maker....not cool.

Oh did I mention on any given night but particularly on Tuesdays I can be seen Trying and I mean trying to drag off smoky ol' diesel 4x4's while delivering Domino's Pizza's around the Batemans Bay area on a 150cc TGB scooter and I ride my wife's Kawasaki GPZ 250 to work each night at the Nursing Home :D:D:D:D:D
Mancard Who needs a Mancard, I reckon I am brave enough especially when mates (who know I ride a Rocket) see me whipping the Scooter to get it going to its top speed of 80 km/h with a tailwind on the flat, go up a slight hill and it is lucky to go 60km/h
