The lowest seat for R3, any suggestions?

Triumph do a low gel seat but its not comfy long distance, I have 2 Corbin seats and I dont think they are lower and they are wider, shorter shocks sorted it for me.

My Corbin Touring seat is lower, but I totally agree with the previous posts. It would be less expensive to have some of the padding removed from your original seat then have it resewn to reduce the seat height than to buy another seat. However, you will also have a sore ass after a long ride as well due to the hardness of the seat by removing some padding as they are already like a brick!

Also have short legs. Just a few comments from my efforts and experiences:

Tried having the seat reworked, but it's hard to get it right. Worked ok for around town, but not for distances.

Tried the Corbin seat and it didn't work for me.

The lower-cut Triumph seat works. Great around town, but isn't comfortable for distance riding.

Had Rick Mayer custom make me a seat. Around $350 for vinyl, but nicely done. He will also keep reworking it if you have comfort problems for just the cost of shipping. Better, but the jury is still out.

Metcruze aint soft but it is lower.I like mine and its comfy for me.Bare in mind i use to ride a super moto so the metcruze seat is great,

Well Mr. nitebell sir, since I'm not a Chief, just a lowly Indian, I guess my opinion isn't valid! My corbin did get softer with use and since I have had six Corbin's on different motorcycles mine isn't a brick and it isn't BS. I've never returned one and I like it, but it's just my lowly opinion as I said. From a non-Chief!

This is a great topic and I have all kinds of advice for you because I'm.....
wait a minute..... uh oh.....
I'm having a short........ circuit....
I'm...... I'mmmm..... Oh God....
Hold it........... Wait.......

OK. Never mind. I'm 6'5" and am currently having forward controls put on Ol' Blue. I think I'm lost.

You are now returned to your regularly short-legged program currently in progress.

At the end of the day it appears the classic touring is better than the standard seat but could still do with some improvement. here I was just earlier to day talking to a triumph dealer in the states about getting a touring and backrest sent over here (to buy the same here is over $1,000.00 and only $689 includig postage from the USA) yeah!! we get ripped of here big time!!!!!! anyway after reading these posts and making a few inquiries I found a seat customeriser in Queensland (800 miles from here)but if we go there he will rebuild and shape the standard seats to the shape of our arses he swears we won't even look at an airhawk and seeing as we are planning to go past there to go to Bunderberg to visit relo's and its only going to cost the same as getting the seat from the states which from the sounds like I might not like anyway. so only problem now is to get the missus up there on that crappy little pillionseat without ruining her for life so I might have wrap her cute little arse in a couple of layers of bubble wrap or sheepskin  :!:cheers

I think my legs are a bit short too, and I thought about replacement or reworked seats - but then I thought a pair of these might be a cheaper option:
