Ride
Triumph Roadster 2010
I got a leave pass from the wife last weekend and went for a ride with 12 others blokes, we did 1500kms up through the high country of Victoria . We left Traralgan friday morning and went up to Mt Hotham and then down into Bright and stayed in Beechworth for the night. Woke to rain Saturday morning which did not stop all day so this made the ride up to Thredbo fun and the fog was pea soup thick. Next night was in Cooma and we came back through Bombala , Bairnsdale then home i had a great time with some new friends i only met that ride. Funny thing is they will remember the big black rocket that pushed them along after the comment was made , i Bet it goes but does it go around corners LOL . Some of the real tight 15kph corners where a challenge but the open country sweepers where real fun.

Nice riding up around there... the whole Victorian High country is superb on a bike. Rode through Mt Hotham while it was snowing once , not so superb.

My last run over Hotham ..... from Harrietville, all the way to the top ..... rain and fog, visibility was about thirty feet, visors up so we could see, icy sleet blowing sideways across the road and into our faces, bloody road shoulda been closed. Fair mongrel. And in December!!!

Lucky for us it was wet and foggy but still warm , i was drenched to the bone my Dririder gear was not so dry for the rider lol. When we got down the mountain on the way to Cooma we had 2 or 3 ks of road works with dirt or should i say mud, its fun with a R3 sideways in this, bit big for dirt bike riding :D

Where perzackly is that roadwork, Dave?? Heading that way in a couple of weeks......
