On another note, I tested out the "Aquabox" today and the Cycle Sound stereo system and was less than impressed with some aspects of the installation.
First off, the right speaker kept cutting out on me, I'll have to go back into the harness and check the main plug the speaker plugged into and make sure it is not loose. Second, the Aquabox is supposed to allow operation of the Ipod while riding, well if all you want to do is FF one track or go back a track, pause or turn it off you can do that. But you cannot adjust the volume thru that plastic cover. I took the plastic cover out (it wasn't raining) and still could not adjust the volume with my gloves on (you could with the gloves off so the Ipod was fine), so I'm going to have to come up with a fix for that.
The volume was okay but nothing like the Gold Wing nor did I expect it to be. When I get my Clearview shield, probably next week, I hope it may cut down on the wind noise some so that it will be somewhat clearer. At this point I am doubting that this system (the Cycle Sounds part of it) should be priced at $499.99 retail, especially now that you can get the 100 watt per channel with 3 inch speakers for the same price.
They offer a volume control (Cycle Sounds) but it is pretty expensive as far as even I am concerned. I have one for the Ipod (I-Jet Remote/lcd display model) I will see if that may be a possible solution to this problem.
