Lately, I've been doing the same. Been hot and humid here.:D

Take heart Flip...

The weatherman says that it's going to be 100F today with enough humidity to push it to around 105 on the 'heat index'... whatever...

Suffice to say it's going to be f*&$in' HOT !

Molinoman, me and Scot in Exile know you create water, even when we hear, "Oh it looks clear up there" , be prepared to get your boots full.

Hey Baggage1, I didn't say "Oh it looks clear up there" I said "It looks like it is lightening up some, let's go ahead and continue the original ride". Let's get it right. Remember, rain doesn't bother me, as a matter of fact you missed the 5 showers we went thru last year after we left Birmingham, AL on the way to Nashville. It didn't clear up till about 40 miles from Nashville.

On another note, I tested out the "Aquabox" today and the Cycle Sound stereo system and was less than impressed with some aspects of the installation.

First off, the right speaker kept cutting out on me, I'll have to go back into the harness and check the main plug the speaker plugged into and make sure it is not loose. Second, the Aquabox is supposed to allow operation of the Ipod while riding, well if all you want to do is FF one track or go back a track, pause or turn it off you can do that. But you cannot adjust the volume thru that plastic cover. I took the plastic cover out (it wasn't raining) and still could not adjust the volume with my gloves on (you could with the gloves off so the Ipod was fine), so I'm going to have to come up with a fix for that.

The volume was okay but nothing like the Gold Wing nor did I expect it to be. When I get my Clearview shield, probably next week, I hope it may cut down on the wind noise some so that it will be somewhat clearer. At this point I am doubting that this system (the Cycle Sounds part of it) should be priced at $499.99 retail, especially now that you can get the 100 watt per channel with 3 inch speakers for the same price.

They offer a volume control (Cycle Sounds) but it is pretty expensive as far as even I am concerned. I have one for the Ipod (I-Jet Remote/lcd display model) I will see if that may be a possible solution to this problem.

Dude, that pic says it all. OK, you have a couple of choices here. Had you rather be called Spock, Chekov, or Mr. Sulu? Sorry, Scotty, Lt. Uhura, Bones, and Capt Kirk have already been taken. :D
