How complicated is it to swap from a standard Roadster/Classic tank to fit a Touring tank with the associated instruments as well?
I have a full set of metalwork ready for a paint job, and now have issues with my speedo that looks like it will necessitate a new speedo/rev counter replacement.
Touring speedo/rev counter consoles are much easier to locate and are also much less expensive although a tank might be difficult to locate.
Can they be easily swaped over, what other parts would be needed?
Thanks for any thoughts in advance.

Foggy ,as far as I know you can't fit a touring tank to the classic without a lot of modification as the frames are different . For a new Speedo thre's always Ebay or try Sandy at Triumphant in Wales.

Thanks for that Kipper, it did look like it might not be feasible, I'll keep looking for reasonable priced standard instruments

You can't use Touring Instruments on a std/classic - Touring Instruments are CANBUS, std are not. There are other electrical differences too but that one is the show-stopper

(Can't fit Roadster clocks to a std/classic either)
