- I saw it when I got home yesterday. Early 2004-early 2006 will work on later 2006 onwards to 2009 but MAY require different plug connections possibly - or it may be just different instrument faces.

Nope, the earlier 2004 - early 2006 had two tone faces as above.

No sir the Classic tourers did. they were left over standards with silver motors converted or finished off in full classic gear.

According to a post by @warp9.9 the 2007 Classic 'Tourers' had earlier leftover Standard silver engines, and two tone instruments with the full Classic kit + extras.

Bike Bandit actually does best with identifying these types of parts that are highly 'VIN' or 'engine number' specific and I have concerns those two terms are often misunderstood or wrongly used.

On many vehicles VIN last numbers and engine numbers match but NOT with Rockets. I usually take all such as references to VIN last 6 digits but have some concerns when it comes to engine specific parts which MAY actually relate to the 'engine number'. @warp9.9 or @Claviger may know.

These are not just 2011 R3R part numbers but for the whole R3 range from 2004-2006 Standards, 2006 - 2009 Standards and Classics, 2010-2014 R3Rs, 2015 -2018 R3Rs.

Early "Classic" clocks say "Classic" on them - Those are going to be like Rockin'orse poo. Also IMO any second hand one that works is possibly NOT going to last long either. Unless it is to obtain a Restoration job that won't get ridden much - I'd strongly consider looking for an alternative.

Ideas page - Digital Speedos | Motorcycle & Car Digital Gauges & Accessories - Remember Bikes need "bike/marine" clocks. VDO also now have some decent WATERPROOF aftermarket stuff available - can be a bit hard to track down - there is a place in Holland Search

I am a fan of KOSO - I know @DEcosse rates Daytona Velona stuff. Never used it so don't know. I have seen too many Acewell things go pop to be able to recommend. Motogadget are pretty much a standard now - expensive though.

I have installed the sexy Daytona Velona and she is very accurate and displays volts, 3 color display simple install, and it was indeed the @DEcosse who helped me with my selection, the koso was an option also for me I wanted small and the volt reader is nice. I wanted it for help with launching which I still suck at so it don’t help with that but she is sexy. And accurate checked on dyno last Monday. You’ll need an oem 3 way plug (Corsa plugs) heat shrink and posi tap red ones, for pro install, decosse taught me that and she’s in there tight and right

Not even Triumph can from experience. There are shared part numbers used on different bikes that refer to different parts.
