I thought it is only Ducati's, but it applies to them all, really. You need to take them home to finish the job, don't you? But let's face it. this new Rocket is pretty darn good already to start with.

Feel free to add and showcase your own.

I took some 300 grit and sanded down the Brembo® logos on the front brake and clutch master cylinder covers. It turned out they are not aluminium as I had expected.

I prefer to lock things up and seal whatever I can. Lessons Learnt. I generally safety security-wire the oil-filler cap, as well as coolant cap(s) if applicable.

Wunderkind® Heel Protectors. I split some hose and added that to prevent my boots from scuffing them up as they did the originals.

if you want to take your bike out on the track here, you have to fasten down oil cap, rad cap and so on with wire like he has done, or you don't get on the track

Man, that's messed up. I don't have Facebook. What's the gist of the mod?
Basically he bought a gas cap band for an x1/3/4/5/6 or mini then
Drilled and countersunk a 5.5mm hole in the plastic radiator mount to pop the retaining end through.
The ring fits around the underside of the cap after being warmed in hot water.

Anyone anal enough to add a secondary method of retention to their oil cap MUST have been a service tech in the airforce (or equivalent)!!
That's what I was thinking!!! I was a "Cage Man" back in the 80's/90's on the Minuteman III missile and did A LOT of safety wiring... 10-11 wraps per inch is the standard

LaMonster Garage 'tank pad' decals, of course.

Breaker Switch on the battery negative lead - I buy those from Twin Motorcycles in the Netherlands. It saves you having to disconnect the battery whenever you need to fiddle on the elec-trickery. I had to move some solenoids out the way to make it all fit.

Triumph badge on the mud catcher. I dremelled the catch and hinge off and planted it with 3M® VHB double-sided tape. It won't come off.

PowerBronze® fender extender - still 'work-in-progress'. I first slop them on with a LOT of good-quality silicone, seal all the open edges and allow it to cure for at least four days. Clean it thoroughly (also with alcohol) just before attaching it and clamp it for at least the first 24 hours. I will clean off the excess silicone next and add some plastic rivets.

Is it only mine's front wheel that is offset to the front mudguard - to the left when I stand in front of it?
