Now owing Rocket 3, how do you tolerate other bikes? What would your next bike be?

Since I have two Rockets, one first Gen and the other a TFC you know I love them and having three Indians I was fully satisfied. Until I save the new new Challenger Elite. I saw it and decided to buy it in 90 seconds. I had to wait a few days till it was released.

It was too gorgeous to pass up. It runs pretty good for a big bagger.
Lovely bike, but so a better version of a Road Glide!

No new next bike for me. I'm happy with what I have.......for now.
I never used to have that mindset in past years, but maybe i've learned in my later years how to make the right choices, so I don't keep looking elsewhere all the time.

Not saying I don't appreciate or admire other bikes. I just know what I like and i'm fortunate enough to be able to say that I have it already.

Love your R Jagster. Have you got GT bars on it?

I couldn't enjoy going up I-75 due to the dense traffic and having to dodge the big trucks. Everywhere else I went in Florida the traffic was just nuts. The best part of all my visits in Florida were having my credit card skimmed at the gas stations, it happened everytime. Otherwise a wonderful place to visit.
I’m a Florida native but left decades ago. There still are good roads to ride in Florida but you have hunt for them. Avoid the coasts and the center. I can show you roads that desolate but we’ll paved with very little human influence.

Yes, it is a benefit. Frankly, not for me personally. My job sadly does not result in long vacations. A few days here and there is all I can score. Nothing long enough to mount "escape from Florida" ride, sadly. I have not even been in all the Florida, as yet. Mostly I ride after work and on weekends, if it doesn't rain.

For me to leave Florida, it is about 7 hours of riding + stopping to get gas and get awoken anew. So, to leave and get back, that is 2 days waisted already. Yeah, when I get a 3-day weekend, I could go, but then I'd come all tired, a new week ahead. That is why I kinda give the rest a preference and just go do a local drive.

That "tail of the dragon" is on my list. It is a famous road with tons of twisties and turns. Still waiting for an opportunity.
Where are you? If you do make up to the Dragon give a holler. It’s just two drive from my home in New Tazewell TN.
