Hi Ya,

I've been on my bike 6 times (bought it a month ago right when winter temps hit)
and have scuffed the side bag twice.
Is there any clear film products or other products that wd. help prevent scuffing
the bags when my clumsy feet hit the bags? Lots of layers of wax, maybe?

Thanks,

Cat

Practise getting on and off the bike just wearing your socks.
And if you cant afford socks - cut toenails short.

Are you scuffing in the same place? - If so maybe just get some of that rubber strip used on car bumpers or side doors and tastefully apply. I've tried that clear film stuff - The problems are that they scuff too. Or maybe fit a chrome grill to the tops? - And there's always diamond tread plate. Or maybe get some 3D decals made http://eu-decals.com/ or maybe fast eddy has some you like http://www.fasteddysports.com/?page_id=3&category=15

3M has product that will work a lot of newer car/trucks have it on where they are more likely to have stone damage.

Lift your leg a bit higher, ya lazy sod.
Ah but - cometh the day when (like our 13 year old pooch) the leg lifting thing becomes awkward. Poor bugger now just leans against the tree - normally irrigating a front paw.

Also an issue in Good Close Fitting leathers (which is how leathers should be).
