so the 20.00 dollar folding step stool at harbor freight does make for a good seat cleaning the rocket factory rims- which i've always have been a fan of except cleaning them using combination of powder laundry detergent, s100-foam is better in my opinion, mothers, etc, shelia shine- does anybody have a good tip to share they use cleaning them? i do use the cone drill bit with mothers (recharging drill) this is good for early phases saves some elbow grease- these rims look great clean

but cleaning them is a PIA

I cleaned mine once in 2010, by the time I got done I said I'm never doing that again.

Don't want to ruin your day but if you are cleaning your rims, than you are not riding enough. That's a winter storage job!

As you said the polish cone can save you a wee bit elbow grease but if you want them done right roll your sleeves up and work on them, all this **** you hear about spray on and all is done is bull s**t made up by someone to dam lazy to clean the wheels correctly.

That's how I've been handling it since 2009. Do they make saddle bags for the front

Have two sets of rims - then you can take all the time you want. In my case that is still very little. I'm thinking of doing a set in Stone-Chip paint.
