Just venting because I've been working on this seat all night. I had a Utopia on my Wing and the install was great/easy. BUT on the R3T is a different story. I knew once the entire seat cover had to come off I was in trouble. I think the mounting bracket is on correctly correctly??? The holes in the bracket did not line up with the rubber bumpers that the bracket goes over and I can't seem to get the cover to look like it did when I had to take it off, so there is going to be extra costs and more importantly, time, to get this on the bike. I was going back and forth on the Triumph seat and backrest and the Utopia. I don't think the aggravation factor outweighs the cost of the Triumph seat set up. And now I have to bet on an upholstery shop putting the cover on right. Just pissed at myself for trying to cheap out on the seat. If anyone is interested, I may have a new Utopia backrest for sale right quick. One more minor thing. Come on Utopia, you guys are a quality outfit. Put some better instructions with the thing!! Rant off.....

"Fingers" always willing to help!! Thanks man but I dropped off the seat at a car upholstery shop this morning and they have already called back and said it's ready. Another 40 bucks!!!! SO I'm into this backrest for 280 dollars. Again, should have bought the Triumph set up!! Thanks again Fingers, you're the man!!!!

I'm sure it will Fingers. I'm just pitching a *****. Utopia makes good stuff, but I know for a few hundred more, I could of had the Triumph Long Tour AND the backrest.

A little. I had to take it back down to the dealer in Lakeland because I've been waiting on them to warranty out the right exhaust pipe. Serious corrosion on the end of it. They called and said the new pipe was in so I rode down and they took the pipe out and it was all messed up, from Triumph nonetheless. Tried taking a pipe off a new Touring on the floor and it had the same corrosion issues. Said she had a "Rocket" in the crate so they would take that pipe and use it, well, it wasn't a Touring model so that didn't fit naturally. Was their for over 2 hours and rode 60 miles back home. Oh well, at least I got a nice ride in. Looks like Triumph is sending another exhaust this week. The rep said if this pipe doesn't work, we'll have to figure something out as Triumph doesn't have anymore???? Don't know what that's about, but wish me luck next Saturday. Hey, if I get an appointment for Saturday morning, feel free to ride on down to Lakeland with me.

Tell them to get you a set of D&D slip ons and all will be good!
