I have been looking at the Triumph classic touring seat. Today I saw a post about a Russel Day-Long seat. Are they really the best you can buy? The Triumph seat at the local dealer is about 600 and from what I saw the Russel was about 700-800.
Also saw that it didn't include the base. Since I currently have the lowrider seat and want the touring style can they make one or somepthing?

Some say the Russell is one of the best seats...Rick Mayer also makes a top quality seat much like the Russell...they come from the same area and I think Mayers father (1st. generation seat maker) also makes or at one time made the Russell....Look up Rick Mayer motorcycle seats...plus the price is better...

Why is it worth nothing Hamst3ri?
I sure don't have one, can't afford one,
but everyone says they're the most comfortable and with all the info they want, I can see why. Height, weight, inseam, ect..
Why's yours worth nothing, just curious.

I've got a perfect classic seat if you want to swap.
Heck, I'll even pay postage for both of em,
just to give your seat a fair shot..
OR I've got a solo seat with a custom pileon thats about 2-3 times more comfortable than the stock pileon (wider and deeper).
PM me if you want to swap.
