I want to reinstall my TORS exhaust and want to insure no leaks, I read somewhere that putting a RV sealent on the joints would help do this .. so, what kind of sealentand ( muffler cement??) how do you apply it. any comment greatly appreciated .

Hanso, I can get a similar product here, ,how exactly does one apply this stuff?? ie- before you attach the pipes or after you tighten the clamps?? or any other method

Put it on the before mating the two pipes, cleanup what ever is visible. Must set for 24 hours before running the bike. It is what is recommended by Jardine Exhaust.

I dont believe you

Na im sure its great ill remember it for when i ever need more still got heaps of this stuff left though
so have I!!!! I bought when I first got the staintunes with Stock header I used it but did not like the copper color where it came out of the connections, happen to ask the mechanic what they used on the Stock headers when they replaced my faulty headgasket as I noticed it was clear they put me on to the selleys 401

Definitely get the copper infused stuff and let it set up for 24 hours before starting the bike or you will blow it out the exhaust.
